Meet Samantha – Nurse, Prince Albert Supportive Living

Samantha has been a valued member of the Hope’s Home family for over four years, working in the Prince Albert Supportive Living home. After beginning her career in medical and surgical nursing, she made the transition to Hope’s Home and has not looked back since.

As a Nurse, Samantha provides holistic, compassionate care to the children in the home, supporting their complex medical needs while also caring for their emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. She plays both a hands-on and leadership role on the floor, working closely with a dedicated team to ensure each child receives meaningful, high-quality care.

Throughout her time at Hope’s Home, Samantha has continued to grow both personally and professionally. She has expanded her knowledge of pediatric care, deepened her understanding of childhood development, and built confidence in her role as a nurse.

For Samantha, the most rewarding part of her work is the relationships she has built. From the children she cares for to the team she works alongside, those connections are what make her role so meaningful.

Outside of her work, Samantha is a wife and mother of two boys. She values the work-life balance her role provides and feels supported and encouraged by both her coworkers and leadership team.

“I genuinely feel blessed to work for Hope’s Home. I love the children I have the privilege of caring for and I look forward to seeing them every time I come to work. I am so grateful to have the benefit of watching them grow, develop, and overcome the challenges they’ve been faced with. This is hands down, the most joyful, rewarding job I have ever had.”

Samantha’s dedication, compassion, and leadership help create a supportive, home-like environment where children feel safe, valued, and cared for every day.
