Jerry and Tina Grandey gift $150,000 to Hope’s Home
Saskatoon, SK – Jerry and Tina Grandey have generously contributed $150,000 to the “There’s No Place Like Hope” capital campaign to enhance the accessibility of medically inclusive child care for kids with complex medical needs.
Saskatoon’s first medically inclusive child care centre features two separate centres caring for 144 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Within the centre, a safe and inclusive environment supports the early childhood education of all kids while ensuring kids with complex medical needs receive daily therapies and nursing care. Thanks to these services, kids like Maverick are not just cared for—they are empowered to thrive.

At just two and a half years old, Maverick has flourished at Hope’s Home. Diagnosed with Coffin-Siris Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, Maverick joined Hope’s Home in September 2024 and has since made remarkable progress in his growth and development. Because of Hope’s Home, Maverick achieved what his doctors believed was impossible: he took his first steps and can now walk independently—defying every expectation.
