The event of the year is back! With a new location, Swinging with the Stars is opening the doors to more attendees than ever before. We can’t wait to welcome you to a bigger stage, bigger venue and an even bigger show at the Conexus Arts Centre!
Swinging with the Stars is similar to the popular reality TV show Dancing with the Stars. We take eight of the city’s most influential people and pair them each with a professional dancer. The pairs then compete in front of a high energy crowd to win bragging rights for the “Crowd Favourite” and “Judge’s Favourite” awards.The heartfelt evening is dedicated to raising funds for Hope’s Home; the first medically integrated daycare in Canada. Hope’s Home provides children with complex medical needs, their siblings and typically developing children in the community with a place to learn, grow and be kids.

Swinging with the Stars – Prince Albert 2021
We wrapped on Swinging with the Stars Prince Albert last weekend and the magic we felt in that room is still carrying us through this week! The energy was magnetic, and the performances, WOW.
Not only that, the community came out in droves and we raised over $200,000 for services and much needed equipment at many of our facilities.
Thank you to every single person who assisted in putting this event together. We really could not have done it without you.
To a night we won’t soon forget!
Swinging With the Stars Regina – Cancelled
With extremely sad hearts, we are officially announcing that Swinging With the Stars Regina is cancelled as an in-person event.
Last week we were informed by our venue that the Saskatchewan Health Authority would not be moving out of the International Trade Centre anymore, which forced us into choosing a new, and less than ideal, location. The plan was to make do with what we had, and still do our best to put on a production that the crowd would love. We then listened to our Premier implement necessary regulations for the safety of our province. As a healthcare organization, we have been diligent on following SHA protocols to protect our families and children, as safety will always be a top priority. So, after much deliberation, considering the new venue, the recent restrictions, rising COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and the magnitude of our event, we felt that it was the ethical decision to call it off.
However, as promised we are still committing to a free virtual event so that we can recognize all the hard work and months of practice our dancers have put into making their routines some of the best we have ever seen! More information will be coming in the next couple of days – but for now, know that you’ll be able to round up a group of friends, plan a viewing party, and cheer on your favourite dancers from the comfort of your own home! Voting will remain open, and the “Crowd Favourite” and “Judges Choice” will still be crowned for our 2021 event.

If you’re new here – Swinging With the Stars is our biggest fundraising event of the year. It is based off the popular TV show, Dancing With the Stars. We pair 8 of Regina’s most influential celebrities with a professional dancer where they compete for Judges Choice, while also raising money in their name to win “Crowd Favourite” as well. It’s a FUN, entertainment filled night – and one that’s a “can’t miss” in the city.
