Job Summary.

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator plays a central role in promoting our organization and the impact we have in our communities across the province. This position assists the Marketing & Communications Manager in carrying out the marketing and communication strategies for Hope’s Home.  This position creates, coordinates, develops, and delivers internal and external communications including social media and supports marketing/fundraising initiatives. The position reports directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager.


  • Create and maintain a cohesive brand identity by carrying the Hope’s Home voice and visual guidelines throughout all internal and external documents.
  • Create and maintain relationships with location staff for social media and storytelling.
  • Coordinate photos and videos with parents, location staff and photographers.
  • Collaboration with Marketing & Communications Manager and participate in the planning and execution of Hope’s Home marketing campaigns.
  • Help plan and participate in events and fundraisers throughout the province.
  • Support the Marketing & Philanthropy Team with event organization and creating marketing material.
  • Get quotes from outside vendors.
  • Order, pick up and distribute materials as needed for internal and external use.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Philanthropy team on Hope’s Home online shop for merchandise.
  • Manage and evolve Hope’s Home social media accounts by creating scheduled content, designing campaigns, and analyzing performance and engagement.
  • Contribute to website design and maintenance.
  • Manage and organize Hope’s Home Canva account and access.
  • Manage inventory of marketing and promotional items, across the province.
  • Provide innovative and creative graphic design expertise.
  • Provide input into the organization’s annual marketing budget.
  • Research trends to keep current on advancing communication strategies and technology.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Complete all required OHS training.

  • Diploma or degree related to Communications and/or Marketing and/or a combination of education and experience.
  • Education and/or experience in Public Relations.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the following:
    • Adobe Creative Suite
    • Social media tools (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
    • WordPress
    • Graphic design
    • Canva
  • Experience using the following is an asset:
    • Donor Perfect
  • The following experience is considered an asset:
    • working in community, charitable and/or non-profit organization
    • fundraising

Work Conditions.

  • Work hours – Monday to Friday, typical business hours with some flexibility.
  • Eight hours a day – 40 hours a week.
  • Occasional overnight travel in the province is required.
  • Extra hours in addition to the standard workday may be required at times.
  • Attend and volunteer at fundraising events.


Job Type: Temporary Full Time

Term End Date: February 28th, 2026

Expected Start Date: July 8th, 2024

Salary: $40,319 to $54,545/year

Location: Hope’s Home Provincial Team (applicants can apply from Regina or Saskatoon)
