Meet Jonah Toth
Jonah is an active community volunteer and the Founder and Executive Director of passion2action Youth Empowerment, a grassroots non-profit working to foster the next generation of active citizens and community leaders in Saskatchewan. He is driven to help young people realize their incredible leadership potential and build stronger communities throughout the province.
An interdisciplinary thinker and problem-solver, Jonah holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.
Working at the Community Foundation, he brings this experience to tackling local challenges by building partnerships in the community and driving sustainable impact.
Jonah is an avid long-distance runner, (urban) farmer at the community gardens, violinist with a love for the classical masterworks, rookie Ukrainian dancer, and adventurous world traveler, and community builder.
Meet Sam Weber
Sam started dancing at the age of 5 and quickly fell in love with it. There was no getting her to sit still so her mom thought dance would be a great addition to her life. Since the start of her dance career, Sam has trained in many styles of dance such as hip-hop, ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, Latin, and heels.
By day Sam is a registered dental hygienist, but she wears many different hats. Sam has taught at Martin School of Dance for the past 9 years, is currently one of the head coaches of the University of Regina Dance Team, was a member of the 620 CKRM Rider Cheer Team for 4 seasons and was backup dancer for Tesher in 2022 and 2023. Hope’s Home holds a special place in Sam’s heart, and she cannot wait to take part in SWTS for her 5th year!
Meet Nicki Smith
Nicki proudly represents the Capital Automotive Group. Born and raised in Regina, she’s happy to participate in any activity that serves and betters the community. She was caught off guard when asked to join this competition but humbly accepted the challenge to get back on stage after 20 years. While Nicki doesn’t have any professional dance training, she was a cheerleader and MTV kid who loved to dance along to all of the great 90’s music videos. She sells cars during the day but has been known to moonlight as a Dance Fitness coach in the evenings. She’s honoured to be participating in support of her special friend, previous student Reece and all of the amazing children, caregivers, and others who make Hope’s Home possible.
About Alli Flaman
With a passion for rhythm and a flair for the spotlight, Alli brings a dynamic dance background to the Swinging with the Stars stage. After transitioning from the softball field to the dance floor, she’s thrived through movement, discipline, and performance. Trained and self-taught, Alli has experience in a wide range of styles including soca, reggaeton, salsa, bachata, heels, dancehall, tap, contemporary, and jazz. She’s been teaching at Collective Studios Regina for the past 2.5 years, sharing her love of dance with students and audiences alike.
This is Alli’s first year partnering with Swinging With the Stars, and she’s thrilled to be part of such a meaningful cause. Known for her vibrant choreography and infectious energy, she’s excited to help her celebrity partner shine — and maybe even take home the title!
Meet Jimmy Schimmel
Jimmy Schimmel is a Regina-based realtor with a flair for community and creativity. Known locally as the founder of HoBo Donuts, a beloved pop-up donut shop that brought gourmet treats and good vibes to the city, Jimmy built a strong following through his passion for quality and connection. In 2022, after having his first daughter Isla, he transitioned into real estate, bringing the same energy, hustle, and personal touch that made his donuts a hit. Whether it’s finding the perfect home or helping clients navigate the market, Jimmy is dedicated to making the experience as smooth (and sweet) as possible.
About Flany B
Flany is a performer and choreographer of African and Latin dances. As the first Kizomba teacher in Saskatchewan, she created Kizomba communities in various cities, such as Regina, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert, and trained several teachers in the province. Flany seeks to add value by sharing her knowledge and passion for dance. Her involvement in the arts and culture has been recognized through her appointment as a Radio-Canada “Young Leader”.
Meet Tony Burko
Meet Cadmus Delorme
Cadmus Delorme considers himself not just a client of Tony’s but a friend and takes his workouts to Heavy Gym. Cadmus was the prior Chief of the Cowessess First Nation, is a Partner with OneHoop Advisory Services and Flowing River Capital Group and is Chancellor at the University of Regina.
Cadmus participated in Hope’s Home Swinging with the Stars in 2019 as a celebrity and is excited to be back this year as a professional!
Meet Dr. Erin Kot
Having attended the SWTS gala last year, Dr. Erin Kot fell in love with the event and is thrilled to be a celebrity dancer this year! Born and raised in Regina, she is a full-time OBGYN and co-owner of Maternity and Wellness on Victoria. Being a #babycatcher, she is able to see how much Hope’s Home benefits her patients and their families, and she is excited to be able to give back to the community in such a fun and positive way! She is grateful to Julee Stewart for taking her on as they conquer this jazzy baton routine!
Meet Julee Stewart
Julee Stewart, from Regina, Saskatchewan, has twirled with the Sundown Optimist Baton Group (SOBG) for over 20 years and trained in jazz, ballet, acro, and lyrical at Martin School of Dance and Baton for 12 years. She is a multi-time Grand National Champion in Medley, Solodance, Solo, 2-Baton, and 3-Baton. Internationally, she earned a World Silver Medal in Freestyle (2022) and Artistic Twirl (2023), and a World Bronze Medal in X-Strut (2023). Julee also won Adult Elite 3-Baton at the 2019 International Cup, is a two-time Congressional Cup Invitational Champion (2022 & 2023), and 2024 Twirl Mania Gold Invitational Champion.
Julee is excited to return to Swinging With the Stars as a professional dancer! This year, she’s partnered with Dr. Erin Kot, who has been practicing her baton skills daily and is ready to take the twirling world by storm. Get ready for flips, tosses, and plenty of sparkle!
Meet Aimee Schulhauser
Aimee Schulhauser spends most of her days cooking up delicious chaos as the owner of Tangerine: the food bar and Schoolhaus Culinary Arts. She’s a chef, entrepreneur, designer, and general ringmaster of all things creative – now adding dancer (sort of!) to the list.
When she’s not in the kitchen or sewing a sequin jumpsuit, Aimee’s usually plotting her next travel adventure, belting out 70s rock, or convincing friends that glitter is a neutral.
She’s thrilled – and maybe a little terrified – to take the stage for Swinging with the Stars in support of Hope’s Home, an organization that embodies the love, care, and community spirit she believes in.
Her goal? To have fun, raise funds, and hopefully nail a few spins without landing on her dance partner. Either way, she promises plenty of sparkle, heart, and laughter on the dance floor.
Meet Kayla Weir
Kayla is so excited to be one of the professional dancers for the Swinging with the Stars event this year. She is currently a student at the U of R studying Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management. Apart from that, she teaches dance at Martin School of Dance, fifth-year member of the U of R Dance Team, and fourth-year member of the Rider Cheer Team! All her life, Kayla grew up as a competitive dancer at both national and international levels. Aside from dancing, she also loves listening to music by her favourite artists and attending their concerts. She enjoys spending time laughing with friends and family at the lake as well as getting on the boat for a sunset wakeboard. Kayla is so passionate about dancing and entertaining others, which is why she decided to participate in Swinging with the Stars. As a firm believer that everyone and anyone can dance, there is no better way to spread her love for dance than sharing her expertise with a celeb partner to represent the community. Kayla is so honoured that she can contribute to raising funds for Hope’s Home to help fill an important need for children and their families by showcasing the happiness that dance brings and how everyone can have fun through dance.
Meet Cheyanne Taylor
Cheyanne Taylor is a passionate and community-driven Real Estate Agent proudly serving Regina and the surrounding areas. With over 14 years of customer service experience, she’s known for her honesty, strong communication, and genuine care for every client she works with. Cheyanne’s love for real estate comes from her desire to help others find not just a house, but a place that truly feels like home. She believes in creating lasting relationships built on trust, transparency, and understanding. Having grown up with a sibling who had complex needs, Cheyanne holds causes that support children and families facing similar challenges very close to her heart. Although she didn’t grow up with the opportunities that organizations like Hope’s Homes now provide, she’s proud to support such meaningful initiatives. Outside of real estate, Cheyanne enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and taking in beautiful prairie sunsets.
Meet Shauna Bailey
Born and raised in Chilliwack, BC, Shauna grew up in the dance studio, training in jazz, tap, ballet, and musical theatre. Competitive dance instilled in her discipline, creativity, and confidence—qualities she now brings to real estate. As a REALTOR® with Boyes Group Realty Inc., Shauna combines professionalism with a personal touch. She believes buying or selling a home should be exciting and rewarding, not stressful, and she’s known for her friendly communication style and attention to detail. Whether guiding first-time buyers or experienced sellers, she ensures every client feels supported from start to finish. When she’s not helping clients, Shauna enjoys life on her acreage with far too many cats and a few other furry friends. She also stays connected to her dance roots by choreographing solos and helping dancers refine their routines and stage presence.
Meet Madelaine Graff
Madelaine Graff believes stories connect people — whether told through design, words, or shared experiences. As the Marketing & Design Manager for Campbell & Haliburton Group, she leads creative storytelling across several divisions, including insurance, property rentals, and construction. She also oversees marketing and design for Artemis Homes, helping bring custom-built homes, and the stories within them, to life for the Regina community.
Through her freelance studio, Madelaine Art & Design, she collaborates with local businesses and organizations to craft meaningful visual identities and campaigns that celebrate connection and community.
For Madelaine, creativity is a form of service as a way to help others find and share their voices. Participating in Swinging With the Stars is another expression of that belief, combining art, movement, and purpose to support a cause that brings people together.
Meet Chasity Delorme
Chasity is a proud Saulteaux/Cree woman from Cowessess First Nation in Treaty 4 Territory. She holds a Bachelor’s in Health Studies (First Nations University), a Master’s Certificate in Sustainable Community Development (Royal Roads), and is completing her Master’s in Educational Psychology (University of Regina). Named one of CBC Saskatchewan’s Future 40 Under 40 in 2016 and a recipient of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Award, Chasity works at Chief Red Bear Children’s Lodge and has dedicated years to Indigenous social justice across Turtle Island.
A proud Old Style Jingle Dress dancer, Chasity raised her children on the Pow Wow Trail, teaching the art and spirit of Pow Wow dance for over 15 years. She continues to share that passion through collaborations with artists across the province.
Returning to the Swinging With the Stars stage for a 3rd year, Chasity dances for wellness, identity, and the celebration of Indigenous joy.
Meet Alex Barabe
Alex Barabe (Alex Paul Artistry, she/her) is a beauty professional with over ten years of experience, specializing in custom lash lifts, brow laminations, eyebrow shaping, and threading. Based in her private studio in Regina’s Warehouse District, Alex is known for her meticulous attention to detail, personalized services, and science-based approach to education.
Creativity and movement have always been central to Alex’s life. She danced competitively from ages 3 to 17 and has recently returned to dance after several years away. She also shares her love of movement as a spin instructor at Wheelhouse Cycle Club, where she has been part of the community for a decade.
A passionate educator, Alex has certified students across Canada and travelled internationally, including to Italy and New York, to further her skills and grow her business. In 2026, she looks forward to hiring her first employee and expanding her educational offerings.
Meet Karyss King
Karyss King currently works at Collective Studios as a dance instructor. She teaches many styles and takes so much pride in what she does. Karyss also competes in UCWDC Line dance and gets to travel all over. Dancing is not just a hobby, it is her life, and it makes her who she is. Now that she has gained many years of experience, she deeply enjoys sharing her knowledge with others to ignite a similar love of dance inside them.
Karyss decided to do Swinging with the Stars because a past dancer referred her, and she immediately loved the idea of teaching someone for a great cause!
